LATINO FASHION WEEK® |LFW™| is the only Fashion Week and tour in the United States created to support the talent of local, national and international Latino designers; and the premier resource institution for those in the Latino Fashion Industry. “By Latinos, For Everyone.”

In its ninth year, the theme for LATINO FASHION WEEK®, “TIMELESS,” leading into a decade of elegance, celebrates the ability to create fashion that is beautiful to the eyes, stimulating to the spirit and forever imprinted on the soul. The Chicago five-day event will include Runway Shows, Celebrity Appearances, VIP Receptions, Fashion Lounges and much more. Each day reaches a different target market. “Join the Movement.”

BENEFACTORS: Each day, a non for profit organization will receive a benefit through added awareness and/or by receiving funds.

RECEPTION will include celebrity chef Richard Sandoval’s Latinicity Food Hall + Lounge

PARKING: If you drive and park in the Block Thirty Seven parking garage, use the following link to pay your for discount parking in advance and avoid paying the full rate.  This discount will also work during the Latino Fashion Week.  Rate: $11.00 – if you park in the Garage, guests will have to prepay for parking; select the option for Latino Fashion Week:

Don’t miss the arrival of the 9th Year Anniversary for Latino Fashion Week® Chicago – Timeless. Join the LFW movement during the five-day celebration of Chicago’s fashion with a Red Carpet Media Reception. Featuring the collections of local designers: Amanda Nicole by Jessica Blair, e&e Aubé Designs, Moi Soli, Robdechi and student designers from Chicago Fashion Foundation; each of whom will present his or her most stunning styles and dynamic designs. In addition, our annual local celebrity catwalk will include familiar faces from television, radio and the social circle that support LFW and will strut the runway. A performance by Chi-Caribena Dance Troupe.

Thursday, October 1: Sophisticates’ Luncheon

The Sophisticates’ Luncheon is an opportunity to embrace the beauty and sophistication of women that are 35+. Spend the afternoon enjoying the latest fashions by Akira, e&e Aubé Designs and Moi Soli all while enjoying a delicious lunch. Connect and network with sophisticated fashionistas! “It’s not about age; it’s about your mindset.” Benefitting Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC).

Thursday, October 1: MOSAIC OF FASHION

Featured designer, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada from Madrid, Spain, the representative of Spanish fashion on the main international catwalks. Also including the Inspiration Collection FW15 by the students of Jannette Klein University directly from the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Mexico City. Performance by Ensemble Español and OMI Music’s Recording Artist, Omar Sanchez.

Friday, October 2: TIMELESS STYLE, HIS, HERS

An evening full of fashion provided by some of the best known national and international designers. The focus tonight is on menswear by Iridium Clothing and Sarar USA, with some amazing women’s fashion by Carmela Osorio Lugo and Gemma Pitarch (Representing Ecuador Fashion Week). Also announcing the “New Face of the SARAR Man” Contest. Benefitting the Illinois Hispanic Nurses Association, chapter of National Association of Hispanic Nurses. Performance by El Bandolero

This elegant evening begins with a VIP celebrity status reception, followed by our finale runway shows, featuring collections of national and international designers including Adan Terriquez (Mexico), Roksolana Bogusta (Ukranian) and Laura Santana (Representative from Ecuador Fashion Week).  Benefitting the National Latino Education Institute (NLEI).

After Party:Block Thirty Seven 3rd Floor until 1:00 AM (Music by Deejay KIDDD, Appetizers, Cash Bar) Performance by Matt LeGrand.

Sunday, October 4: YOUTH FASHION DAY BY Latino Fashion Week AND (PRO)JECT US
Workshops & Runway: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM       

Latino Fashion Week and (Pro)Ject Us presents Fashion skills development workshops including Style Wars and and an AWSUM (Amazing-Wonderful-Super-Unique-Me) Workshop with motivational speakers such as Ana Dominguez, The Queen of Tape and Devin Velez, Finalist for American Idol (Season 12). A special performance by Ángel Quinceañeras and closing with an amazing Quinceañera fashion runway show by Adan Terriquez and Kohl’s.
