In 2008 Jorge Ortega opened Tinta Roja Projects, LLC, an arts/media shop based in Chicago and Barranquilla, Colombia to lead the Urban Interdisciplinary Arts scene in the Americas.

Jorge Luis Ortega has over 20 years of experience in Event Production, Sound Engineering, and Arts Management in the entertainment industry. He consults with numerous art projects, agencies, and event properties. Among them are Columbia College Chicago/ Manifest Urban Arts Festival, Latin Grammy’s Street Parties, Mark Anthony, Carlos Vives, Vicente Fernandez and Kinto Sol to name a few. Ortega has developed and implemented many motor-sports projects, such as the NCLR Automotive Culture Exhibition at this year’s annual conference along with the Masters of the Streets Custom Car Show, Megaseries Celebrity Custom Car Tour, and the1^st Annual Funkmaster Flex Celebrity Car Show in New York City.
