She personally works with each client from first sketches to fabric selection, muslin and fitting process to the final customized garment. Elda creates elegant outfits for all occasions, specializing in Cocktail, Evening, Bridal and Commitment Ceremony ensembles. Elda De La Rosa creates striking, intricate designs that have a powerful presence and an extraordinary flow. Hector-Javier MonArrez

Hector-Javier MonArrez was born in Durango, Mexico, there he specialize in bridal, leather construction, and corsetry.  Later he moved to Chicago where he enrolled at a private school to major in fashion design. There he received the education he needed to specialize in pattern making, draping, fabric manipulation, textile and couture techniques.  At his second year of school on May 15, 2008 he took the 2nd place for his outstanding Fashion Design Collection inspired by “The Phantom of the Opera”. Also on May 21, 2009 the Prize for outstanding fashion design were awarded to Hector-Javier MonArrez who won the first prize for his collection and academic achievement.

James De Colon

Chicago-based couturier James De Colón is a native New Yorker with strong ties to his homeland San Juan, Puerto Rico.  De Colón and partner, Creative Director-Wayne Reddrick, have been an integral part of the Chicago fashion community for the last ten years.  They have operated two successful boutiques in the inner city; and are now in preparation to launch the online boutique, DE COLÓN.

Monica Socolovsky

SATHYA, of Monica Socolovsky is an Argentine brand with over 20 years of working in art, design and production of women's apparel. Her growing reputation has brought her fame abroad and international recognition soon after. SATHYA has exhibited new collections each season in the major Fashion Weeks of Paris, London, Madrid and Milan.

In 2006, the brand opened a franchise in the elegant Av.Isora Obarrio Samuel Lewis Plaza in the city of Panama, a space exclusive to SATHYA, it has allowed for expansion of the brand presence in South America. Currently, the collections are on sale in many countries around the world such as Japan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Turkey, Korea, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Greece, Australia, Panama and Brazil, among others.

Nora del Busto

 

Peruvian American designer, Nora del Busto was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Nora received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and then received her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. After working as an attorney for a few years, Nora decided to explore her creative side. 

She enrolled at the International Academy of Design and Technology in 2005 and graduated three years later. While in school, Nora received numerous scholarships and awards including Fashion Group International scholarship, Chicago Fashion Foundation scholarship, Richard Driehaus Award for Fashion Excellence, General Motors Student Design Competion, and IADT’s Outstanding Senior Collection award. In addition, as the winner of 2008 Latino Fashion Week’s Student Competition, Nora showed her collection at the Latino Fashion Week “El Fin” fashion show.

Sonya Galaviz

Sonya Galaviz comes from a distinguished Mexican heritage. Her Grandfather immigrated to the United States after spending his youth playing tenor sax in the renowned Perez Prado big band. Born in Salt Lake City, she has a unique perspective combining elements from the American West, her Mexican heritage and her love for the big city.
